Giveaway Picker

Paste your entries, choose how many winners and alternates, and draw. Duplicates can be removed so each person counts once.

How to run a fair draw

  1. Collect the entries. Copy usernames from your post's comments, a sign-up sheet or a spreadsheet column, and paste them in, one per line.
  2. Decide on duplicates. If your rules say one entry per person, leave "Count each entrant once" ticked. If extra comments earn extra entries, untick it.
  3. Draw winners and alternates. Alternates are drawn in order, in case a winner does not reply or is not eligible.
  4. Keep a record. Take a screenshot of the result, which shows the time and the number of entries, and share it with your followers if you like.

Fairness

The draw shuffles the whole list with your browser's cryptographic random number generator; the first names after the shuffle are the winners. Every entry has the same chance. Nothing is sent to our server: your list stays in your browser. See how it works.

Before you run a giveaway

Social platforms have their own rules for promotions, and some countries regulate prize draws (for example, some Australian states require a permit for trade promotion lotteries above a prize value). Check the rules that apply to you. This tool picks winners; it does not make a draw legal.
